What is Prayer?

Prayer is partitioning GOD through the martyrdom of HIS Son JESUS CHRIST because of our sins. When we pray what-so-ever we ask, we need to ask in JESUS redemptive Name to take an idea or request and make it a living breathing part of reality.

If you want your prayer to be effective to be answered quickly and to work to the good of all concerned, follow these simple suggestions.

I have always prayed with little more than simply thanking HIM for HIS many blessings. I usually cover anyone within ear shot as well. Of course the more blessings one has the more one should be thankful and by this measure one should be thankful as much as possible.

If you give a gift to someone would you like a little acknowledgement of appreciation? So too would GOD! Wouldn’t you be a little more inclined to give gifts to someone that appreciated rather than to someone that does not? So too would GOD! So if we give HIM praise and genuine appreciation don’t you think that it follows that HE is more likely to bless you further? I would rather be blessed than lucky!

Attitude in prayer is very important; in fact it is imperative to getting HIS best blessings by showing HIM your gratitude. Everything from a casual prayer to an ultra humble plea for immediate intervention goes to GOD through HIS son, Jesus also the degree of the intensity of the communication even more than the circumstance.

Fasting is considered by GOD an act of super respect by the sacrifice of self indulgence at your own expense. In fact the more that you sacrifice the more that GOD will validate your dedication to HIS intervention by your prayer. Sacrifice need not be in fasting or fasting only, but the giving of your time and/or your money is also a sacrifice as is self-discipline. Now combine these qualities for a super effective prayer, I guarantee you will see results sooner than you might expect.

Let us not forget that GOD gives us challenges to develop us. If you are praying for intervention for something that HE is testing you with you may still find your prayers answered but the test may just assume another form. In these cases just accept what life brings your way. Know that GOD is on your side and HE wants you to succeed. Even what occasionally harm that befalls us is not inflicted to harm us spiritually but perhaps to remind us that we are but servants of this physical reality and we need to keep focused on the higher goal.

Who I Am

When I pray I do not think about places where I am not as much as who I am. I think about the people that are being abused and whether or not they are Christians. I suppose that most must not be Christians but that does not mean that I could turn my back on them with a clear conscience and what about those that are Christians. Maybe I should not distinguish between them. God causes the rain to fall on both the good and the bad.

I feel sorry for those who struggle and suffer. I have had my share of misery as have we all. Maybe it is something like a right of passage for every human. Still there are those that die an untimely death. I

Give GOD the Glory

It is a mistake to not give GOD the Glory. What happens when we glorify our own selves is that we begin to think that we are this or that and in truth we are nothing more than barely human. We are not really very smart or wise or powerful or anything else. We are feeble and pathetic. When we don’t give GOD that Glory we assume that we are more than we could ever be by ourselves.

When we give GOD the Glory we keep our run away imaginations from getting carried away. When we give GOD the Glory we also give credit where credit is due and confirm the truth about our real place in the scheme of things. It is right to be appreciative for what we receive from HIM. Also in giving GOD the Glory we acknowledge HIS ability to rescue us or confer appreciation for a gift given to a faithful and appreciative child to a caring and benevolent Father.

It is not by accident that we are here on a learning and challenging living environment. This world is a school to teach each and every one why good is and why we should appreciate it.

If you spend all of your life getting all of those things that you believe will make your life worth living than you will have missed what life is really about.

Life is not worth living once you have developed contrary abilities that are required to make a fortune and how do you live but to wallow in it, something that you learned as a child was not good for you.

I have been praying and saying grace before each and every meal since I was a child and now I am 63. I have not lost my ability to taste food and if anything I think that my flavor receptors are even better than ever. Thank you JESUS! My over all health is ideal and my faith in HIS ability to heal me of every ailment is steadfast. And I thank GOD and HIS Son JESUS each and every day.

In fact when I pray I almost always pray a prayer of thanksgiving. I am thankful for a great many things. By letting HIM know this HE is more gracious than HE is to say someone who just accepts his or her blessings with a grain of salt or may even feel that they have earned it. No one can ever do enough to earn any one of HIS blessings. Also when ever I get the chance I will help or give just to hear GOD bless you.

We should be GOD blessing each other as often as possible. In this way when two or more agree in HIS name it will be so is a promise and HE never fails in HIS promises. What I wouldn’t give to receive just one more GOD bless you this day, for no man knows what tomorrow will bring.

While there is much misunderstanding concerning those that die an untimely death. I know that it seems that GOD being good should not let things like that happen however that is only a purely physical point of view. The Bible clearly states that GOD knows us even before we are formed in the womb. I believe that this implies that we agree before we are even conceived about many aspects of what our lives are to be. We may agree to what to accomplish to justify being given the gift of life. This could include where we are to be born and even when we will die and all before birth. So on consultation on loosing a family member that this was pre-ordained and there is no single event that is not accounted for by GOD.

Mt 6:9 thus therefore pray ye: `Our Father who [art] in the heavens! (our name (today) for the heavens is/are the stars in the universe) hallowed be Thy name.

Mt 6:10 Thy reign come: Thy will come to pass, as in heaven also on the earth.

Mt 6:11 Our appointed bread (food for thought, you do not know what you ask) give us to-day.

Mt 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as also we forgive our debtors (a self-imposed condition with a stiff penalty).
